Learning gain is measured via a 15-question cybersecurity knowledge test students take before starting the curriculum (pre) and after completing it (post). The gain percentage reflects average improvement relative to baseline score, calculated only across students who completed both assessments. Classes with fewer than 5 assessed students are excluded from the classroom-level average to prevent outlier distortion.
A mission is counted as "completed" only when a student passes the interactive quiz portion — not just by viewing content. Each mission requires answering correctly (attempts are tracked). This makes the completion count a measure of demonstrated understanding, not passive consumption.
All metrics on this page are aggregate and anonymized. No individual student is identifiable from any number shown here. Student data is stored in U.S.-based infrastructure, is never sold or shared with third parties, and is accessible to parents and teachers on request.
