If you receive a two-factor authentication code you didn’t request, act immediately.
Someone is trying to log into your account with a password they either stole or guessed.
Go to your account settings, change your password to something new and strong, review recent login activity, and log out all other sessions.
Enable 2FA while you’re in there so this can’t happen again.
Ask your child: "Why do you think websites ask for a second code? What would happen if someone got that code?"
