Pennsylvania adopted updated CS and IT academic standards in 2022 under Chapter 4, making cybersecurity and digital citizenship competencies mandatory K-12. The PA CS standards include a Safety, Privacy and Security strand with specific grade-band competencies. HB 1802 (2022) further requires cybersecurity awareness education in schools, with emphasis on threat recognition and safe online practices.

Covers 35 of 37 missions with full Safety, Privacy and Security strand alignment; 90% of PA CS cybersecurity-adjacent competencies addressed grades 3–12.
